Quotations are invited for the provision communications/engagement work on two existing documents relating to the NHS Leadership Academy’s work on ‘Building Leadership for Inclusion’ Building Leadership for Inclusion (BLFI) is a programme of work designed to address the issues of equality, diversity, discrimination and inclusion It focusses upon unlocking leadership potential for inclusion across the wider system, thus creating a ‘movement’ for change which will be adopted over time. BLFI works directly with the NHS workforce and international experts to create new knowledge, tools and interventions which will transform leadership and leadership development, so that the NHS’ ambitions for inclusion can be realised. The Academy will build on its track record of ensuring that diversity and inclusion is at the centre of leadership behaviour and development. This will be achieved by launching Building Leadership for Inclusion which will act as a hub for international expertise, advice and action. It will also enable the health and social care system/s to become more inclusive, more representative at all levels of its employees and more representative of the population it seeks to serve. This work will inform, and significantly influence, future thinking; focusing on how systems can apply fresh insight to the creation of increased and sustainable levels of inclusion for patients, service users, employees and communities. Positive action programmes are a vital component of the BLFI workstream, central to identifying, developing and harnessing the rich and diverse talents within the NHS BAME employee community.
