Tender description

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust provide a wide range of health and social care services in South East London, specialising in forensic, community health, mental health and learning disability services. We deliver care to people of all ages and work closely with a variety of partners to ensure that our services are well-integrated and holistic. We operate from over 100 sites in a variety of locations across the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich and into Kent. We work in a wide variety of settings — hospitals, clinics, schools, prisons and in people's homes. The key objective of this call for competition is to procure a high quality, responsive and financially competitive Soft FM provider across all the Trust sites. Some aims of the new Soft FM provision are: standardisation of service delivery methods and quality. Compliance with most up-to-date NHS Guidance and Legislation and deliver a sustainable service which is affordable and offers value for money. The provider will be required to develop and implement the following services (not exhaustive list). 1. Cleaning (including window cleaning and peripheral services, e.g., emergency response as required and deep cleaning); 2. Catering — Patient feeding (mainly cook-freeze); 3. Catering — Retail; 4. Porter services (mobile and site based); 5. Linen and laundry; 6. Domestic services including housekeeping; 7. Reception services; 8. Telephony; 9. Post room services; 10. Courier services; 11. Pest control; 12. Security (site and mobile patrol) issuing of access cards; 13. Internal plants and features; 14. Waste management (clinical waste, black bag waste, recycling, pharmaceutical waste and feminine hygiene); 15. Curtain/ blinds cleaning; 16. Car parking services; 17. Mobile caretaker; 18. Receipt and Distribution; 19. Grounds and Gardens.
