Passenger Lift Replacement

Tender description

Purbeck District Council invites tenders for a full replacement of 1 x Passenger lift, within the existing lift shaft at Westport House, Worgret Road, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 4PP. The work comprises of dismantling, removal and disposal of the 1x Passenger lift, with the supply, installation and commissioning of 1x Passenger lift to the specification. The project will also include the necessary additional items to bring the lift in line with the current British Standards and the Health & Safety at work Act. The contract period is for 18 months. Purbeck District Council reserves the right to terminate the contract at the end of 1 year or at any time thereafter on not less than one month's notice. We anticipate awarding to a single supplier. The Commencement and Completion dates are to be agreed It is advised to undertake a site visit to conduct a site survey to ensure a full understanding of the site is established.
