Get Walking online and app based walking promotion

Tender description

The Council requires an online and app based walking promotion to encourage and support local people to increase their levels of walking. The site and apps should be hosted and managed by the provider and be available at all times during the promotional periods for people to sign-up and record their walking progress. The provider must offer a selection of virtual walks of differing lengths to allow a range of promotional time-lengths to suit the Council's plans. Routes should be achievable within the time period for someone walking the recommended distance per day and site users should be able to track their progress against the target. The Council requires access to sign-up data and the ability to communicate with site users.
