2017 will see the launch of the Bournemouth Christmas Tree Wonderland which will transform Bournemouth's Town Centre, Lower Gardens and Pier Approach into a magical winter wonderland of Christmas trees and lights cementing Bournemouth as a leading Tourism and retail destination for the Christmas period. Bournemouth Borough Council are appointing a supplier to take on the initial design concepts creating and installing a Christmas Tree Wonderland to include all associated features to illuminate the Town creating the main visual attraction over the festive period (November - January). The investment from the Council will be across 5 years with the option for three annual further extensions in order to firmly establish the project giving variations year on year.
