Tender description

ESB invites expressions of interest for the Design, Type Testing, Fabrication and Delivery of up to qty. 400 of 400 kV Steel Towers in Hot Rolled Steel, to agreed locations in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for this Interconnection Project. Please note that while this tender process covers both requirements, it will be evaluated as 1 tender process. Ultimately 2 framework contracts — (a) for ESB for circa qty. 300 Towers in EURO currency and (b) for NIE, for circa qty. 100 Towers — in GBP currency, will be awarded to 1 supplier with 1 agreed Tower design at the conclusion of the tender process. Please note that ESB has not yet received final approval for this project and therefore may be obliged to cancel this process.
