Tender description
This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of the supply of both new and overhauled brake actuators (the ‘Contract’). The actuators to which this PQQ and resulting tender refer are fitted to vehicles in IE's rail fleet and include Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as Faiveley and Wabtec. As a result of this PQQ Iarnród Éireann intend to invite tenders for the supply of both new and overhauled brake actuators. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a comprehensive warranty and warranty support as agreed by contract. Overhaul of brake and park brake cylinders from 201 Class Locomotive Fleet for a period of 3 years. Overhaul of brake and park brake cylinders from 2600/2800 Fleet for a period of 3 years.
