Tender description

UK Global Healthcare Limited (‘UGH’) and Indo UK Healthcare Private Limited (‘IUHP’) on behalf of the Indo UK Institute of Health programme (‘IUIH’) (collectively referred to as ‘the Parties’) wish to appoint a partner/partners to a panel of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) suppliers which will subsequently be invited to join long term partnerships with IUHP and IUIH to supply to the eleven proposed NHS branded Indo UK Institutes of Health at various locations across India. This advert is part of a comprehensive procurement programme which will be conducted by UGH and IUHP throughout 2017 and 2018 and which will be advertised in a similar manner. It follows on from 2 earlier requirements placed for orthopaedics and radiology which are now at the contract award stage. UGH is acting as the lead in putting in place a Framework Agreement for ICU Device and Equipment. The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified ICU Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. The successful partner/s will also be expected to share a proportion of the risk in the development of each hospital and clinic by way of financial investment. The form of such financial investment will form part of the tender solutions proposed by bidders. This Lot includes all hardware/software for patient monitoring with all the functionality with patient monitoring, e.g. cardiac output, End Tidal CO2, invasive pressures, respiratory rate, pulse rate as well as associated accessories including rechargeable battery, printer, battery life indicator. The ability to pre configure the screen display to suit different patient types, able to move patient's trends displays, interface with central station and IUIH clinical information system. A fully configurable, flexible and interconnected system which allows for communication with all other software with data collection and back-up. Safety automated recording of parameters when alarms are triggered. Must have audible and visual alarm functions functionality. To exclude Monitors and consumables used solely in Anaesthetics. UGH is acting as the lead in putting in place a Framework Agreement for ICU Device and Equipment. The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified ICU Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. The successful partner/s will also be expected to share a proportion of the risk in the development of each hospital and clinic by way of financial investment. The form of such financial investment will form part of the tender solutions proposed by bidders. This Lot includes all ventilators that should be versatile, able to ventilate a wide variety of patient types and sizes with modern ventilation software allowing the use of different modes in differing situations. They should be fully integrated with the monitoring system and allow data collection by the data management systems. The ventilator should have capability to be used for both non-invasive and invasive ventilation. Designed to be used with modern inhaled medications (excluding anaesthetic vapours) and scavenging of waste gases should be considered The ventilators must be able to deliver IPPV (intermittent positive pressure ventilation) and other forms of ventilation (SIMV) used for weaning. To exclude Ventilators and consumables used solely in Anaesthetics. UGH is acting as the lead in putting in place a Framework Agreement for ICU Device and Equipment. The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified ICU Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. This lot includes systems as follows: — Single or Dual pendant to consist of Medical gas suction, — Examination lighting, — Standard monitoring, — Electrical sockets, — Integrated patient and ICU communication system with emergency call facility, — Data ports for monitoring and machine communication and control, — Option to be fixed or articulating ceiling mounted with powered movement and fully adjustable in position in all planes. UGH is acting as the lead in putting in place a Framework Agreement for ICU Device and Equipment. The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified ICU Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. The successful partner/s will also be expected to share a proportion of the risk in the development of each hospital and clinic by way of financial investment. The form of such financial investment will form part of the tender solutions proposed by bidders. This lot includes drug infusion pumps/ IV Pumps that are used for intravenous drugs Infusion feeds. The pumps should communicate with the data collection and management systems for full electronic records. UGH is acting as the lead in putting in place a Framework Agreement for ICU Device and Equipment. The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified ICU Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. The successful partner/s will also be expected to share a proportion of the risk in the development of each hospital and clinic by way of financial investment. The form of such financial investment will form part of the tender solutions proposed by bidders. This is to include:, — Furniture, rehab chairs, fridges, — Point of care testing, — Rehabilitation equipment, hoist, mobile examination led lights — Intra operative fluid management system e.g. oesophageal Doppler, — Resuscitation trolley, chart trolley, — Haemodialysis standalone machine, arterial blood gas analyser, echocardiography (ECG) machine, humidifiers, ultrasound machine. UGH is acting as the lead in putting in place a Framework Agreement for ICU Device and Equipment. The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified ICU Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. The successful partner/s will also be expected to share a proportion of the risk in the development of each hospital and clinic by way of financial investment. The form of such financial investment will form part of the tender solutions proposed by bidders. This lot will include items from lot 1 and 2 — Standard and high spec anaesthetic machines for Theatres, Anaesthetic Room, Recovery, A&E, Endoscopy and MRI suite and Outlying areas such as CT scanners, — All the above must include the basic NIBP/SPO2/Temp Monitors e.g. NIBP/SPO2 and Optional Temperature Measurement, — Standard Multi Parameter Monitors Includes: Patient Cardiac, Respiratory, Pressure and Gas Monitoring, — Sites –Wards, Recovery bays, and Transport Monitor Options, — Network and central station Connects bed spaces and provides Central Review Point and Data.
