The University has a requirement to replace, upgrade or maintain various elements of its security contracts and as such has split this opportunity into 4 Lots. Lot 1 This requirement is for the replacement of the Intruder Alarm systems across 3 buildings in the Universities St Peters Campus and the upgrade of the CCTV equipment in the Universities Control Room. Lot 2 The University would like to explore by way of condition reports, the feasibility to initially upgrade / replace 2 further Intruder Alarm systems. Further reports may be requested throughout the duration of this opportunity. Lot 3 The University would like to explore and understand the minor replacement/upgrade/installation/maintenance contracts available for CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control as part of this opportunity. Lot 4 Where it is economically advantageous to do so, the University may consider a combined solution to provide all the above Lots (1-3 inclusive). Replacement of the Intruder Alarms for 3 Buildings and the upgrade of the CCTV video management solution in the control centre. This opportunity allows for a further 50 % uplift in cost if funds become available to the University in the contract period. The University would like to explore by way of condition reports, the feasibility to upgrade / replace the Intruder Alarm systems in 2 further buildings. It is anticipated that the feasibility studies will be no more than 5 000 000 and should the University proceed to upgrade or replace the existing systems, a further 45 000 000 is anticipated. This opportunity allows for a further 50 % uplift in cost if funds become available to the University in the contract period.
