Ice Rink Supporting Services Framework

Tender description

Great Yarmouth Borough Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers of supporting services for Real Ice Rinks to provide a range of services over the next 4 years starting with an installation in the Market Place from the 17th November 2017 to the 6th January 2018. Lot 1 - Provision of chiller equipment suitable to keep a really ice rink sized 15m x 30m in a suitable condition for skating. Lot 2 - Hire of a Generator suitable to power the chiller in Lot 1 Lot 3 - Supply of services to build the installation before the operating period and dismantle and store equipment following its use, including a full risk assessment together with the build and dismantling schedules. Lot 4 - Provision of Glycol Melt Pits suitable to maintain an ice rink sized 15m x 30m. Lot 5 - Supply of staffing and uniforms to operate the installation, including - an experienced project manager for the duration of this project, experienced and capable ticketing and customer service staff to collect money and issue equipment, including some late-night operation (up to 9.00pm). The Installation will be availability every day during the period of operation except Christmas day and Boxing day. Lot 6 - Storage of the ice rink and associated equipment when not in use.
