Tender description

Network Rail (NR) is looking to engage a Managed Services partner to work with its Safety, Technical & Engineering (STE) Department, to help manage the peaks and troughs of activity across a number of areas. NR are currently looking to enter into a pre-procurement dialogue with market specialists to explore the best way to identify, engage and develop a managed services partner that will provide flexible, multi-disciplinary capability and capacity alongside value for money. If you are interested and capable of delivering a service as detailed above (and in more detail in II.2.4), please request a questionnaire form from Joe.jordan@networkrail.co.uk and return before 17:00 on the 9th of October. There may be a further engagement session beyond the questionnaire which, if run, will consist of a Network Rail presentation, followed by one on one sessions with suppliers on a first come first served basis, based on a booking tool which will be released after the 10th of October. Services which may be included (but not limited to) Reporting (Engineering) Whole life Costing for Enhancement Projects Software Development Undertaking Reliability Engineering and Analysis Studies Undertaking Journey Time and Capacity Modelling & Analysis Studies Product Acceptance Design for Reliability Intelligent Infrastructure Standards Engineering Competency Framework Delivery of Training Materials Reporting (Quality, Health Safety & Environment) Entering and updating SHE event data into SMIS Undertaking SHE and Asset Management Reporting Undertaking Functional Audits of the Routes and /or Supplier Licences Audits of Infrastructure Projects' Contractors Mobile Safety Vehicles Red Light LX Safety Equipment Reporting (Operational, Security & Information).
