Tenders were invited from firms wishing to be considered as sole provider to Queen's University Belfast for the supply and delivery of wine. The successful applicant will be required to supply a range of wines to be used across the University, primarily to the Great Hall and Riddel Hall for corporate events, banquets, weddings and conferences. This contract shall be for an initial period of 12 months. This contract also includes options to extend by up to a further 48 [forty eight] months. Where estimated quantities are stated, they shall be regarded only as a guide and shall not be binding upon the University nor deemed to be a Condition of Contract or a guarantee of minimum demand or uptake. This contract is for the sole provider for the supply and delivery of wine to Queen's University Belfast. The supplier will be required to supply a range of wines to be used across the University, primarily to the Great Hall and Riddel Hall for corporate events, banquets, weddings and conferences. The University hosts a wide and varied number of events throughout each academic year ranging from drinks receptions, finger and fork buffets, conference dinners to celebration events such as Graduation, Weddings and high profile awards ceremonies. The customers and guests at each event have a variety of different needs and budgets and therefore the successful applicant will be required to supply a range of wines to meet these needs. This contract shall be for an initial period of 12 months. This contract also includes options to extend by up to a further 48 [forty eight] months.
