This is to advise the market that the Office of Government Procurement, on behalf of the Office of the Revenue Commissioners intend to invite submissions from tenderers with the expertise and the capability of providing various services such as Transportation of seized and other goods, Storage and Warehousing services at the State Warehouse at Dublin Port and also Disposal services of seized and other goods. The overall requirement is for the provision of transportation, storage and destruction/disposal of seized/detained and other goods. Objectives of the contract (in no particular order) are to: — Support Revenue's front-line staff in the exercise of their profession through the provision of effective support services. — Incrementally reduce the impact on the environment of Revenue's activities. — Maximise cost effectiveness in the haulage, storage and destruction/disposal of seized/detained and other goods. — Ensure the security of seized goods in out-housed storage. — Facilitate implementation of Revenue's policy on early destruction/disposal of seized/detained and other goods. — Maximise any benefits for Revenue from the destruction/disposal of seized/detained and other goods — Minimise the Health and Safety risks to Revenue’s staff involved in the collection, storage and destruction/disposal of seized/detained and other goods.
