Tender description

The Education Authority (EA) invites tenders for the delivery of the following range of Safeguarding Services to the EA Registered/Recognised Voluntary Youth Service: — Provision of basic Child Protection training (including refresher training) courses across the EA registered/recognised voluntary youth service. — Designated Officer training (including refresher training) across the EA registered/recognised voluntary youth service. — Training to EA registered/recognised voluntary youth service Management Committees on Child Protection. — Provision of Child Sexual Exploitation training to youth workers across the EA registered/recognised voluntary youth service. — Provision of Internet safety training (including social media, cyber bullying, image sharing, grooming) across the EA registered/recognised voluntary youth service. — Coordination and administration of the above safeguarding training programmes across the EA registered/recognised voluntary youth work service. — Administration of Access checks across the EA registered/recognised voluntary youth service. Tenders for the cost of providing the above services should not exceed 25 000 GBP per annum. This tender is for a call-off, as and when required, contract for the period 1.9.2017 to 31.3.2018. However the Authority may decide to extend the contract for a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance and further funding being available in 2018/19.
