Tender description
From 1.4. 2015 Local Authorities have a duty to meet eligible social care needs and plan for continuity of care for people in prison and approved premises. A social care pathway has been agreed by the Prison Health and Social Care Partnership Board. The purpose of the service was to meet the eligible social care needs of people in Norfolk's prisons and approved premises. We expected to award a contract for 5 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 4 years, subject to performance and funding. The range quoted represents the estimated values for 1 year and for 5 years at HMP Norwich only. The values for other locations was not known.
