HEE had a requirement to procure approximately 2 000 GPhC accredited Pharmacist Independent Prescribers courses across England as part of an initial 2-year contract. Pharmacist independent prescribing has been identified as an essential aspect of workforce transformation. Courses commissioned through this tender will need to be accredited by the GPhC. This notice is regarding the award of this procurement. HEE, in partnership with NHS England, has sought to engage education providers to deliver up to 2 000 places on courses which deliver General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) accredited pharmacist independent prescribers across England, between 1.9.2017 and 31.3.2019. The national programmes which bridge both organisations are: — The workforce elements of the Pharmacy Integration Fund, — The workforce elements of Clinical Pharmacists in General Practice Phase 2.
