Tender description

London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking expressions of interest from suitably competent Organisations to tender for the provision of a taxi transport service to be provided as and when required during the contract duration. Under the contract there are no guaranteed volumes of journeys to be made. The Contractor will be required to provide a Taxi Service that ensures that the Trust staff, passengers and items are transported in a safe and caring manner. The Trust currently makes over 5 000 taxi journeys per annum. Under the contract there are no guaranteed volumes of journeys to be made. The Contractor will be required to provide a Taxi Service that ensures that the Trust staff, passengers and items are transported in a safe and caring manner. The Trust currently makes over 5 000 taxi journeys per annum. This meets mainly ad hoc staff transport needs for travel across all the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust sites including other Healthcare Services Providers locations and any other destination as requested and as such fixed prices are required for any permutations of journey across these sites. This service is strictly controlled and the Contractor must apply procedures and protocols in line with Trust Taxi Procedures to ensure these are applied. The Contractor must reject all requests which do not fall within this specification and not in line with Trust Taxi Procedures.
