Tender description

BEIS requires an evidence review and additional research on the effectiveness of energy audits & reporting in driving energy efficiency savings in organisations. This will include a further evaluation to develop the understanding of the impact of the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), following on from the previous process evaluation (2015-2017).The research is expected to be conducted in 2 phases, starting Oct 2017 and ending in March 2019: — Phase 1 (Oct 2017-May 2018) — Evidence and policy review of energy audits and reporting, including ESOS. — Phase 2 (May 2018-March 2019) — In-depth assessment of the impact and benefits of energy audits and reporting, building on earlier process evaluation of ESOS audits and reporting. Contract review points and break clauses are included at the end of Phase 1 and at the end of the Phase 2 scoping stage; with possible 6 month extension. For background information, the full specification & further information on this project please see the ITT. A briefing session will be held at BEIS, in London at 11:00 on 6.9.2017. The session will allow BEIS to provide potential bidders with more details about the requirements of this project and will give potential bidders an opportunity to ask questions. Due to space limitations, attendance is restricted to one representative per organisation.
