The Jeanie Johnston on Custom House Quay, Dublin 1 is a popular tourist attraction and event venue in Dublin Docklands. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is being used to inform interested economic operators that Dublin City Council will shortly go to tender for a Concession Contract for the management, operation and promotion of the ship including but not limited to; Routine Maintenance-Engineering Works, Routine Maintenance-cleanliness, upkeep etc., Guided tours, Event Management, Marketing and Promotions, Health and Safety, Management of dry-docking and related works, Management of Marine Certification. Dublin City Council intends to publish a call for competition in due course on www.etenders.gov.ie and, if warranted, in the Official Journal of the EU. Please note: this is not a call for competition and no tender documents are available at this stage. This process will not be utilised in order to preclude any future competition to be conducted by Dublin City Council.
