Charnwood Local Economy Assessment

Tender description

Charnwood Borough Council wishes to appoint suitably experienced consultants to undertake an assessment (analysis) of the nature of the Charnwood economy and to produce a report on the findings. The work undertaken will be used to inform the production of a new Economic Growth Strategy for Charnwood. The report must both, (a) present factual findings covering the labour market, economic composition, impact of cultural and leisure events, commercial land and premises, town centre data and business start ups and survival, and (b) outline a range of forecast scenarios of likely change in the local economy over the next 15 years (taking in to account that reviews of the Strategy are programmed to occur every 5 years). The last date for request of documents is the 31st July 2017, with Quotations to be returned on the 8th August 2017 - 12 Noon.
