This is a Prior Information Notice with future call for competition and its purpose is to make the market aware of the Southern Health Foundation Trust's intentions. Please refer to the full description below on section II.2.4. Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust will be seeking to engage an external partner to guide the development of internal capacity and delivery of an organisation-wide quality improvement programme based on proven evidence based methodology. The Chief Executive will lead the programme and the supplier will work closely with the Trust Executive Board to facilitate a Trust culture of continual quality improvement. Such a programme will be a core component of the Trust's long term strategy and allow it to effectively transform to meet the needs of the population we service in the face of healthcare challenges such as reduced resources, rising costs and variation in quality of care. The provider will have experience of delivering quality improvement capability in mental health services. The partner will support and implement a sustainable programme of quality improvement across the whole organisation over a period of two years with a critical requirement of leaving a lasting legacy to support quality improvement beyond this time. It is our intention to undertake a procurement process during 2017, to award a contract in early 2018 and to commence provision by April 2018.
