Tender description

Provision of transport services for Home to School (Mainstream Education and Additional Learning Needs) and Social Services (Adult and Looked after Children) in the Neath Port Talbot County Borough and surrounding areas. This procurement exercise involves the provision of Home to School / Colleges and activities transport services within or outside the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot (the ‘County Borough’) for the following: 1. Mainstream Education; 2. Additional Learning Needs (‘ALN’); 3. Social Services (Adults); 4. Social Services (Looked after Children) Contract period — Unless otherwise specified in the Specifications of Services for each service and as provided for in the conditions of contract: 1. Home to School (Mainstream Education and ALN) routes will run for a period of four years from 1.9.2017 to the end of the academic year in July 2021 with an option in favour of the Council to extend for a period of up to one year. 2. Social Services (Adult and Looked after Children) routes will run for a period of four years from 1.9.2017 to the end of the attendance year in 2021 with an option in favour of the Council to extend for a period of up to one year. Award was based on 100 % price.
