Tender description

To provide a walking and cycling game using advanced smartcards (RFID Cards Only) and online technology. Provide Marketing, Technical support and Leasing of the RFID compatible boxes for the game. The programme should encourage physical activity to the whole community of Dumfries in the form of walking / cycling on the existing public roads, footpaths and cycling infrastructure. — Must not be app based. — Must be playable by all without the need to access a computer or manually input data online. — Must not require the use of a mobile phone or any other consumer device e.g. GPS to participate. Provide detailed anonymised reporting and analysis on all participating including distance travelled, average speed times and locations of journeys. Provide detailed anonymised reporting and analysis on how the above correlates to age, health and social demographic of the participates. Lease 50 RFID card compatible boxes for the duration of the game, including maintenance, repairs and replacements as and when required. Provide Marketing and Community Engagement services to ensure the success of the project. This project has taken place previously in Annan (2014) and Stranraer (2016). Values quoted within this VEAT notice includes the contract values for the previously run programmes.
