Tender description

The University's current contract for the Maintenance of Combined Heat and Power Units is due to expire at the end of December 2017. The University would like to invite interested providers to a Market Engagement session to help us to better understand the current market, prior to us deciding the correct route for future contracts. This session will involve giving a short presentation to key stakeholders from the University and their advisors followed by a Q&A. The sessions will take place in mid-September 2017. Should you be interested in attending a session, please email estates-ecg@bristol.ac.uk and we will respond with further details. Be responsible for all routine maintenance on the Equipment listed below including major overhauls. Undertake all additional maintenance, repairs and breakdowns not covered by routine maintenance. Attend at the Location during Normal Working Hours within 48 hours of being notified or detecting a defect or malfunction. Remotely monitor the CHP Equipment via its own existing dedicated remote monitoring system (originally CoGenCo supplied). Facilitate the operation of equipment to the maximum benefit of The University of Bristol. Insure on the Customer's behalf to provide cover against major failures of equipment. The equipment schedule: Chemistry Block 1160kWe manufactured by CoGenCo in 2006, Medical School 500kWe manufactured by CoGenCo in 2006,Langford Building 380kWe manufactured by CoGenCo in 2007.
