Tender description

The construction, maintenance and emergency repairs of NIE substations is carried out by NIE Networks' Plant Maintenance Electricians. To assist with this work NIE Networks wishes to procure the services of suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of forklifts, telehandlers, and transport of equipment. It is a vital part of this contract that plant can provided for use with or without an operator. This work is completed at numerous sites across Northern Ireland. This is a framework contract for a period of 3 years for the provision of Forklift and Telehandler Hire with Transportation services. The quantity of work shall be as instructed by the Contracting Entity during that period. There shall also be an option entirely at the discretion of the Contracting Entity to extend the contract for up to a further 2 years.
