Consultancy services to the support reform of employment & skills activities in Bath & North East Somerset

Tender description

The Council is looking to work with a consultancy service which can offer substantial experience of public sector reform. Through successful integration of direct and indirect employment support services we expect to ensure that our residents are able to benefit from the forecast jobs growth in the district. We believe that the Council should support partners in Bath & North East Somerset to achieve this in our role as leader, facilitator, deliverer, influencer and employer. At the conclusion of this project, B&NES service providers, residents and employers will have developed a Virtual Employment Hub, integrating services and activities which relate to accessing employment across the whole of the district, although not reliant on a single physical location. The Employment Hub will have determined what resources are available to us and what shared outcomes we seek to achieve. The Hub will be based on the most efficient and effective routes to translate resources available into outcomes.
