Walsall, with a population of just over 250,000 is one of seven Metropolitan Boroughs located in the West Midlands, and one the four Black Country authorities. The Borough of Walsall contains a mixture of urban and rural landscapes. The service provision of the borough is focussed on Walsall town centre and the five district centres of, Aldridge, Bloxwich, Brownhills, Darlaston and Willenhall. Walsall Council's Clean and Green Services section is seeking to appoint a suitably resourced and experienced contractor to deliver leaflets, booklets and other informative or promotional items as required. There are approximately 110,000 postal addresses within the borough of Walsall, and from time to time information relating to new initiatives, operational or seasonal changes need to be communicated to residents, in the form of leaflets, booklets or other items. This procurement process does not guarantee any amount of work to the successful bidder, as the requirement to deliver leaflets etc can vary from year to year.
