Tender description
Nottingham City Homes invites tenders for the provision of Stairlifts, Hoists and Disabled Access Equipment Maintenance, Service and Repair to properties managed by Nottingham City Homes on behalf of Nottingham City Council. The contract period will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend up to a further 2 years subject to NCH requirements and satisfactory performance reviews. Nottingham City Homes reserves the right to terminate the contract at the end of year 2 or at any time thereafter on not less than one month's notice. We anticipate awarding to a single Supplier. The works shall comprise of day-to-day maintenance, repair and programmed servicing of lifting equipment installed in residents' properties assisting them in living independently. This will include: — Carrying out responsive maintenance (RM) as issues by the Employer, — Carrying out servicing / planned and preventive maintenance (PPM) as issued by the Employer, Schedule of equipment types contained within Nottingham City Homes (the Employer) managed housing stock: — Approximately 615 — Straight and curved track stairlifts constructed by Bison Bede, Brooks, Freelift, Gimson, Hirolift, Lift able, Liberator, Meditek, Minivator ,Stannah, Handicare, Oto Lifts and ThyssenKrupp. — Approximately 125 — Ceiling Track hoists constructed by BHM, Chiltern, Freeway, Handimove, Invacare, Maxi Sky, Spectra, Travel master, Tri care and Wessex. — Approximately 35 — Internal wheelchair platform lifts constructed by John Pollock, Terry Lifts and Wessex. — Approximately 25 — External wheelchair platform lifts constructed by Spectra, Terry Lifts and Wessex. The sites of the proposed work are situated within the city of Nottingham and adjoining boroughs (some units are in Gedling). They are generally those owned by Nottingham City Council and managed by Nottingham City Homes Ltd.
