Tender description

The Irish Patents Office (IPO), an Office under the aegis of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation (DJEI), invites suitably qualified providers to tender for the provision of an online e-filing system for Patent and Supplementary Protection Certificate (SPC) applications (Lot 1) and/or an online stand-alone module — Patent Specification Template Tool (Lot 2) together with associated application development, support and maintenance, via the Office's website (www.patentsoffice.ie ). This includes a Requirements Analysis for the integration of the e-filing system and the development of an online Patent Specification Template Tool with the existing IPO online payment environment and IPO PTOLEMY administration system. Provision of a web based system which will allow an applicant to make an application for a Patent or SPC application online via the Patents Office website. Provision of an online detailed stand-alone module for non-expert applicants entitled ‘Patent Specification Template Tool’ to assist users in completing a patent specification.
