Tender description

As part of the Zero Energy Building Catalyst project (ZEBCat) we are looking to tender for a solutions provider to deliver a reduction in Great Moor House's primary energy consumption(metered supply of gas and electricity) of 60 %. Works need to result in an energy reduction of 946,828 kWh from the baseline (yearly average between 2012-15), therefore resulting in an annual consumption of no more than 691,136 kWh per year. We are also keen for solutions to include performance guarantees and to explore how well-being and productivity of users can be improved. Great Moor House is a mixed-use building with offices, library, stores and temperature and humidity controlled archive. There are no expected changes to the building and surrounding areas use in medium-term. Devon County Council is looking to procure an arrangement which could be a Power Purchase Agreement or Energy Performance Contract.
