Tender description

The WEA has a contract with its current supplier to provide general hosting and ICT support services to its workforce. The contract is due to expire in January 2018. The WEA's ICT infrastructure is currently primarily based on Microsoft software and Dell hardware for servers. PC's and Laptops the organisation uses have been provided by a variety of manufacturers. The WEA owns all of its servers and end-user computers. The WEA currently operates from some forty offices in England and Scotland. The main Regional centres hosting a server are at the following geographical locations; Leeds, London, Bristol, Rochester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Liverpool, Nottingham, Newcastle, Leicester, and Edinburgh.
