The Provision of Specialist Services for assisting with Strategy Development and Implementation, and Organisational Change Management

In January 2016 the EPA launched a corporate strategy ‘Strageic Plan 2016-2020 – Our Environment, Our Wellbeing’. This involved a comprehensive strategic review of its operations and strategic priorities. An internal Corporate Strategy Implementation Team was established to progress the implementation of the plan and the external advisor will assist and liaise with this team on aspects of the plan. Following the merger of the EPA and the RPII in August 2014 a new organisational structure was put in place which involved amongst other things the development of a new senior management structure in the EPA. In this regard the external advisor will provide coaching and mentoring support to the Board and the Senior Management Team as part of the ongoing process of strengthening the leadership system across the EPA to achieve our strategic goals. In 2016 the EPA commenced the process of developing a new Human Resources Development strategy for the period 2017-2021 and associated Action Plan. Both documents are close to being finalised following extensive collaboration with staff and a Peer Review. A small internal HRD Strategy Development Team has been established to progress this project and the external advisor will assist and liaise with this team during the process as required.
