The Provision of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Services

Tender description

The requirement is for the Contractor to carry out the services in compliance with the service specification in a manner that will maintain the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the ventilation and air conditioning plant and equipment in the Council's buildings and deliver effective planned and preventative maintenance thus improving uptime and life expectancy. In providing the services, the Contractor shall carry out all activities necessary for the continual running and efficient use of all specified services. These activities shall include but are not limited to performing:- - Effective and efficient reactive repairs and first time fix rates - Planned maintenance inspections to ensure all ventilation and air conditioning installations are kept in good working order and are compliant with all legal and environmental requirements, and - All other tasks outlined in the service specification Contractors who are invited to tender following the selection questionnaire stage, will be required to attend site visits. We do not feel that prospective contractors could accurately price for this contract without visiting site, therefore this is a condition of tender. Site Dates will be published via the YORtender messaging portal. This will include 2 half day sessions and include visits to King Cross Library, Sowerby Bridge Swimming Pool, Mulcture House and North Bridge Leisure Centre.
