Tender description

In 2014/2015, DCC undertook a significant capital investment at Five Fords WWTW infrastructure for the site. The G2G element of the site is now managed by the DCC Energy team with support from local operations. The investment included constructing a facility to export bio methane direct into the national gas network. The initial capital delivery project accounted for support and maintenance of four key infrastructure areas for two years after installation. DCC now intends to appoint a single Applicant (in line with CDM regulations) to manage the four main aspects requiring maintenance. The intention is to have one principal contractor (under CDM regulations) who manages all elements of maintenance provision on behalf of DCC in line with agreed availability and performance KPIs and Service Levels. The main areas of scope are below: 1. Screw compressor plant maintenance; 2. General pipework repairs and system purging; 3. Membrane plant maintenance; 4. Grid entry unit maintenance.
