Tender description

It is the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) intention to procure a Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service. NHS Bedfordshire and Luton CCGs recognise how important it is that our stakeholders are informed and engaged in respect of this service. The CCGs will be taking the opportunity to review the current service specification and model with a view to making service improvements which will be informed by engagement with service providers. The CCGs are considering enhancing the existing service model and eligibility criteria so there is greater consistency and clarity of provision. The CCGs therefore, are seeking suitably qualified service providers to engage on the development of this service. NHS Bedfordshire and Luton CCGs believe structured sessions with providers is essential to inform our market knowledge, and the opportunities for service enhancement. There will also be the opportunity to articulate how you believe your organisation can add value, support the development of specification and outcomes to our services and to what extent can enable more effective integration with other parts of the system. If you wish to participate in the market engagement, please complete and e-mail the expression of interest form to rebecca.farquhar@attain.co.uk by 5pm on Friday 4th August 2017. Sessions will be held with providers individually week commencing 7th August 2017: 1. Day 1 - Tuesday 8th August 2017 - Luton Clinical Commissioning Group. The Lodge, 4 George Street West Luton LU1 2BJ. 2. Day 2 - Thursday 10th August 2017 - Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group. Capability House Wrest Park Silsoe Bedfordshire MK45 4HR. Further details of the procurement process will be sent via the Bravo e-tendering system in due course. Please Note: Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken by you prior to any subsequent procurement is a matter solely for your own commercial judgment. The CCGs reserve the right to withdraw from the process at any time or to not tender the service(s) or to tender on a different basis. In such circumstances, and in any event, the CCGs and/or its advisors shall not be liable for any costs or loss of expenses whatsoever incurred by the bidder and company, agent, subsidiary or organisation may have contributed to any proposals submitted to this notice. Please also refer to the Expression of interest form provided and required back to the Attain Commercial Lead by 3pm Friday 4th August 2017.
