Tender description

Merseytravel require a suitable supplier for the provision of 5.8GHZ DSRC Fast Tags/On Board Units/Transponders to meet the following requirements: Fast Tags should be compatible with Melodhy Recytale short range desk top beacon and must be compatible with the Armonhy CS220 toll lane beacon produced by CSSI (now Emovis). Tags should have a min. battery lifespan of 7 years with a warranty period. Suppliers should meet any costs for the return and replacement of any faulty Tags. The Tag must have a unique serial number applied by the manufacturer. This number should be embedded within the operations of the Tag to ensure it is recognised by the system. Each Tag must be supplied with a holder to ensure correct positioning to vehicle windscreens. Each tag must display appropriate durable labelling to be applied before delivery. It is envisaged an annual order of approximately 25 000 tags, determined by customer demand. The contract will be for 4 years in a Single Party Framework agreement.
