Tender description

The scope of the Contact is to carry out the servicing and repair of electric/hydraulic passenger lifts, domestic stair lifts, through floor lifts and hoists. The scope of the Contact is to carry out the servicing and repair of electric/hydraulic passenger lifts, domestic stair lifts, through floor lifts and hoists. The Contract shall provide cover for a comprehensive service and repair of the lifts throughout the Contract period. The Contract model is a single fee per lift unit per annum, that includes: — Servicing and inspection in accordance with the stated frequencies; — 24 hours, 7 days, 52 weeks' response to breakdowns in accordance with the stated response times; — The cost of all repairs, labour and materials up to an excess value of: — 500 GBP excluding VAT– passenger lifts; — 300 GBP excluding VAT — domestic lifts. Full details of the Services to be provided under the Contract are contained in the Specification set out at Appendix 7 of the Invitation to Tender document. The Successful Bidder will be required to comply with the Specification in providing the Services.
