Tender description

This Framework Agreement will provide but not limited to the contracting bodies identified at VI.3 (and any future successor to these organisations) and associated bodies with a range of Health and Social Care Transport, including but not limited to Urgent Care, Mental Health, Learning Disability, End of Life Care, Acute Hospitals, General Practice, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Community Service Providers, Primary Care, Personalised Packages of Transport for Personal Budget Holders, Community Logistics and any other future transport requirements within the Health and Social Care sector. It offers no guaranteed level of activity or payment to any successful Providers. The service will be procured against a common service specification split into 30 lots, consisting of geographical areas. All Providers who wish to provide the services are invited to apply and must be able to demonstrate compliance with the evaluation criteria. NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) in partnership with Specialist Commissioning Support Service 365 Response are seeking to add Providers to the Framework Agreement for Health and Social Care Transport, for use by or on behalf of UK public sector bodies identified at VI.3, including without limitation, (I) any National Health Service (NHS) Trust, (II) other persons and bodies exercising NHS functions or otherwise providing NHS services (including, but not limited to clinical commissioning groups, commissioning support units, NHS England and foundation trusts) (being other NHS entities), (III) other UK public sector bodies providing non-health services, (IV) private sector entitles in the UK and Isle of Man public services sector. For Providers who failed to meet the application criteria the first time of applying or for any new entrants to the market during the life of the Framework Agreement, the application process will be reopened at a minimum 6 monthly intervals and advertised accordingly. This current procurement is the fourth such ‘reopening’. Please note that applications will be processed as they are received.
