Tender description

The project is concerned with the construction of new affordable houses comprising a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom houses on parcels of land at Southview Park in Trowbridge. It is anticipated that in total 50 houses will be constructed as part of the project which may be delivered in a number of tranches subject to Council affordability limits. The houses are required to comply with Wiltshire Council Core Policies for affordable housing including Core Policy 41, Housing Quality Indicators as well as the Government's Code for sustainable housing (Code 4) and achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating. The proposed affordable houses are expected to be similar in appearance and style to the already constructed and occupied houses in the locality of the parcels of land. The anticipated construction value is 6 600 000 GBP and the procurement route is likely to be Single Stage Design and Build.
