Tender description

This PIN is being issued by the Education Funding Agency (‘EFA’) on behalf of the Department for Education (‘DfE’) to notify the market of a forthcoming procurement and to release design and specification information to the market prior to the procurement commencing. See the Sections II.2.4) and VI.3) of this notice for further details of the proposed procurement. See section II.2.14) for details of how to obtain the design and specification information. This procurement was the subject of a previous PIN reference 100518-2016-EN and market engagement and supplier engagement events. This procurement is the second of 3 batches mentioned in the original PIN. The procurement will likely take the form of a framework agreement for the delivery of standardised primary school block replacement schemes. This may be divided into lots. Anticipated overall framework value will be c. 95 000 000 GBP. Procurement will include a batch of c. 18 named schemes with value c. 50 000 000 GBP.
