Notification of Award of the following: Thames Water Utilities Limited (TWUL) is the UK's largest Water and Waste Services company with approximately 4 700 employees. TWUL are seeking to award a Framework Agreement for the supply of polymers which include polyelectrolyte chemicals for thickening & dewatering of sludge as well as chemicals used to aid settlement and foam control within the waste water treatment process. In addition we will also look to investigate an advanced care maintenance programme for our 53 sludge processing centres for the polymer make up equipment. The duration of the Framework Agreement length will be an initial three years with the option for TWUL to extend annually to a maximum of eight years. The scope of this procurement is for the supply of polymers and technical support services which include polyelectrolyte chemicals for thickening & dewatering of sludge as well as chemicals used to aid settlement and foam control within the waste water treatment process. We will require technical services to support the supply of polymer to provide optimisation support and thus best efficiencies. This will be achieved through a collaborative relationship in order to increase levels of optimisation. Investigate implementing a total care maintenance programme across some or all of the 53 sludge processing centres for the polymer make up equipment.
