Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council as Contracting Authority on behalf of the EM LawShare consortium is putting in place a framework agreement for use by public sector bodies identified at VI.3 (and any future successors to the organisations) which includes local authorities, police and fire authorities, central and local government arm's length bodies, agencies and controlled companies and NHS bodies who all have need for legal services. EM Lawshare is a consortium of public bodies. At the 1.5.2017 they numbered 121, making it by far the largest of its kind. The vast majority of these are local authorities however there are a variety of other members including NHS Trusts, Fire and Rescue, Police, University, National Park, Town and Parish Councils and Arm's Length Management Organisations. Originally, when the consortium was first set up in 2006, all members were from the East Midlands and though they still are the largest in number members are now drawn from as far north as Durham, as far south as Plymouth, as far west as Herefordshire & as far east as Suffolk. Apart from the East Midlands there is strong representation from the West Midlands and South Yorkshire. Previous spend over the last 4 years up to and including 2016/17 is 16 200 000 GBP.
