ESB have a requirement for a managed service to provide specialist services to support ESB's IT Lodestar and Market Process competency centre for software systems developed using Oracle Lodestar utilities products and functional support for the wholesale Electricity Market Processes. ESB's IT Lodestar and Market Process competency centre currently provide support for business processes and the following systems implemented using Oracle (Lodestar) Utilities products: — Demand Forecasting System (DFS) — used for Load Profiling and Settlement; — Tariff Pricing System (TPS) — used for Rate Management; — Pool Market Operations (PMO) — primarily used for market communications.
