Who Speclialist Work With The successful supplier/candidate will be working within a relatively small established project team with a product owner, project manager, technical assurance/lead, business analysts and a backend developer. What Specialists Work On Working with the Emergency Travel Document (ETD) on-line product owner and business analysts to bring defined user stories to life through supporting wireframes and screen prototypes which illustrate various options based on the FCO ETD application process improvements. Within FCO Consular's existing ETD Online digital channel, develop front end digital pages and behaviour as defined in sprint user stories, working with a back end developer to hook in business function required to support the requirements that include: 1. Digital facial image capture 2. Supporting documentation upload 3. Caching of ETD application. Where the Work Takes Place Main location will be FCO's office in King Charles Street London. Remote working may be available where necessary. Early Market Engagement A project team has been established to analyse the existing business process and elaborate with the business a proposed 'to-be' business process and workflow. Detailed analysis has been conducted to identify efficiency savings and reduce manual user intervention in the ETD application, review/ validation and issuance activities. Technical analysis has been conducted to identify IT efficiencies through further integration of Consular systems and services under a consolidated IT Estate. Working Arrangements The supplier is expected to supply a resource that can be on-site in London full-time during business hours Monday to Friday. 1. The resource should also be comfortable working using an agile approach including developing user stories from prioritised backlogs, sprints, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives. 2. Be comfortable talking to non-technical staff and translating their requirements into technical terms Be a good listener. 3. Where appropriate be innovative and propose changes to processes. 4. We would like to be able to send the specialist unaccompanied to meet technical and non-technical staff. Work Location Main location will be FCO's office in King Charles Street London. Remote working may be available where necessary. Security Clearance All staff working on FCO premises must be at least SC Cleared or capable of being cleared to SC. Bidders must confirm clearance of nominated resources. If required, FCO will initiate SC clearance.
