Repair and maintenance services

Tender description

This will be a 5 year contract for reactive and Planned Maintenance Services at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and associated community and administrative sites with possible extensions up to 10 years with breaks at year 7. The service encompasses the provision of reactive and planned maintenance at the hospital and associated buildings 24/7, 365/6 days per year. The contract length will be let for 5 years extendible up to 10 with a break at 7. The negotiated procedure will allow bidders to submit their proposals through an e-procurement portal and these will be evaluated and moderated by the Trust. It is likely that a minimum of 3 companies will then go forward to a further stage where there will be a an asset data warranting exercise, a negotiation on comprehensive risk levels, PPM and other aspects as identified during the bid phase. These will be further evaluated and moderated to determine the successful bidder. For the avoidance of doubt the NHS Services contract will be used with additional schedules covering Change control, Step in, Exit and Transition and appropriate items.
