The BBC is launching a procurement in October for Audio Visual Systems Integration for a new Wales HQ, Central Square, Cardiff. The BBC is launching a procurement in October for Audio Visual Systems Integration for a new Wales HQ, Central Square, Cardiff. The scope of the procurement includes the following: — Supply and install approx. 400 Displays; — Supply and install meeting room and collaboration equipment; — Building wide IPTV System; — Broadcast Display System (Displays in Production areas, integrated into Production Systems); — LED Video Wall and Control System; — Supply and Install of intelligent lighting; — Supply and Install Digital Signage System; — Interactive technology for public engagement. The BBC wishes to provide notice that it will be holding a supplier briefing session on Monday 4th September between 13:00-15:00 for those interested in bidding. The session will provide an introduction into the building programme and a high level overview of the work packages that form this procurement. Attendance will not influence PQQ or ITT stages, and is not a prerequisite. Those wishing to attend the briefing session need to respond via email to both paul.hurley@bbc.co.uk and mary.coogan@bbc.co.uk by Monday 21st August, providing contact details of the attendees together with their job title. A maximum of 2 persons can attend from each potential bidder. We will be unable to provide car parking, and will encourage those attending to do so via public transport. There will also be a chance to ask any initial questions bidders may have. The session will be held at BBC Wales Broadcasting House, Llandaff, Cardiff, CF5 2YQ.
