Cherwell District Council (‘the Authority’) is inviting Tenders for the Provision of Emergency Accommodation in the Cherwell District to Assist Cherwell District Council (CDC) to Meet it's Duties Under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 (Amended) via the Open Procedure, whereby all those expressing an interest are requested to provide a full tender submission, in accordance with this Invitation to Tender Pack. Cherwell District Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from parties interested in providing self-contained units of accommodation within Cherwell District for use in an emergency by households who present as homeless. The units need to be available on a night by night basis and provide furnishings, utilities and other facilities to meet the needs of those who may present in crisis. Cherwell District Council has a statutory duty to provide temporary accommodation for the homeless. To complete our portfolio we are seeking to procure self-contained units of accommodation within Cherwell district for use in an emergency by households who present as homeless. The units need to be available on a night-by-night basis and provide furnishing, utilities and other facilities to meet the needs of those who may present in crisis.
