L17012-T-RC Fire Sprinkler Works: Design, Supply and Installation

Tender description

London Luton Airport are wishing to appoint a fire sprinkler designer and installer for the survey, design and installation of a wet sprinkler system for the new retail units installed as part of Project Curium. There is a current maintenance agreement in place therefore this contract seeks to align the end dates of the contracts to enable one contract to be tendered at a later date. This tender seeks to appoint one supplier for the duration of the contract. Work packages have been identified and bidders will be required to price of these accordingly. However, for any works not covered, bidders are to provide unit rates which will be used on a call off basis. LLA currently have a maintenance contract in place for the sprinkler system which ends 31st March 2019 with the option to extend for an additional 2 years on an annual basis. Therefore, this contract will be in place for the same period of time to align the two contracts. Prior to these expiring, it will be the intention of LLA to approach the market for one contract to cover both works and maintenance. The contract will commence 1st August for a period of 1 year and 7 months with the option to extend for a period of 2 years on an annual basis.
