Unattended Measurement System Development and Asset Condition Monitoring Strategy

Tender description

HS2 Ltd has awarded a contract to engage a Supplier to develop and define the initial rolling stock requirements with regards to the Unattended Measurement System Development and Asset Condition Monitoring Strategy. The Supplier will work with HS2 Ltd.'s Infrastructure Maintenance team and develop requirements for the forthcoming Rolling Stock and Railway Systems procurement exercises by providing a clear guidance to the: • HS2 Ltd.'s Rolling Stock team of the infrastructure inspection, measurement and monitoring equipment that needs to be fitted to the commercial service rolling stock; and • HS2 Ltd.'s Railway Systems Procurement team of the Asset Condition Monitoring equipment required to provide performance and condition information, therefore enabling the Asset Management end state requirements to be included within the Rail System procurement packaging. Following a sub-OJEU open competition advertised via the Contracts Finder website (see previous opportunity notice at: https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Notice/ad9866cc-5f35-4d4a-8cc5-a1721a68d643) the contract has been awarded to rcm2 Limited.
