Rosh Pinah Primary School is a voluntary aided Primary School. The school is under the auspices of the London Beth Din and is an Orthodox Jewish School that places special emphasis on Kashrut (dietary laws). Jewish way of life is a key part of the School's Jewish studies curriculum and this is reinforced through the celebration of key festivals throughout the year. This includes special meals e.g. Pesach Seder. The School operates a full Kosher Meat Kitchen which is overseen by a full time Shomer and it is essential that companies expressing interest in this opportunity are fully conversant with the Jewish Culture and Kosher Catering. There are currently 456 pupils with 46 in the Nursery, 175 KS1 and 235 KS2. The school is two form of entry but currently has low pupil numbers in KS2, this is now being replaced by fully subscribed KS1 classes. There are 8 pupils eligible for FSM. Current pupil meal price to the school is 2.10 and this will rise to 2.15 from January 2018 and 2.75 for staff including VAT. Hospitality is minimal at circa 2 000 PA.
